The actor Edouard Baer will be the new Asterix.
After Christian Clavier and Clovis Cornillac, the actor chosen to play the little Gaul with blond whiskers on his fourth delivery Edouard Baer .
The script is based on the combination of two well-known adventures la serie, "Astérix en Bretaña" y "Astérix y los Normandos" y será dirigida por Laurent Tirard . Gerard Depardieu continuará siendo Obelix y Fabrice Luchini sustituirá a Alain Delon en el papel de César. Otro rostro famoso que se suma al proyecto es el de Catherine Deneuve , interpretando nada más y nada menos que a la reina de la Bretaña, a todos ellos hay que sumar a los actores Valerie Lemercier , Guillaume Gallienne , Charlotte Lebon Vincent Lacoste and .
The projection of this latest adventure in cinemas is scheduled for spring 2012 and following the current fashion shoot in 3D.
