time ago I published a post about Google Earth Tlapa. Since that time the date has changed the Google Maps service here in Tlapa, so much so that already have the layout of routes to a particular location.
I know our city may not require technological aid, but unfortunately our geographical location does not allow certain streets to locate easily (between hills and poorly mapped streets) will always be welcome aid of certain gadgets.
Currently Smartphones smartphone or have the necessary software Geolocation and allow it refers to know our location automatically. This is because those teams that bring integrated GPS receivers using the satellite network that surrounds the planet, can locate anywhere in the world.
other hand tools like Google Maps offer us geolocation without having GPS on the phone, because based on the cell phone towers calculates the intensity of the signal, and traingula the estimated position on the map. It is not as accurate as GPS, but getting close.
But can we dispense with mobile equipment, because browsers like Chrome, Safari, etc. using the geolocation API that is google, so if you need to move from one place to another, just say where you, as you know geolocation where you are. It works by verifying the IP current in your computer, along with any wifi access points, which are in the Google database Location Services, and so gives an estimated location.
used for this exercise program for Google iOS Places, a service over Google, which is the aforementioned geolocation and so we "notice" of operations that we have around our position.
Once typed the type of establishment that we, in this case Stationers, shows the nearby establishments. I locate and select the stationery World School:
Then 'asked' How to get to that facility, showing the following path:
As shown, the suggested route shown in gray color, indicating the distance and travel time. This route is on the understanding that will be held to a foot, the route may be selected drive (change the time and distance in the result).
Here is a short video showing the use of geolocation applied Tlapa de Comonfort, Gro.
